Zero Dark Birdie Golf Retreat

Join us for a one-of-a-kind retreat where elite veterans reconnect with themselves and each other through the healing power of golf, camaraderie, and quiet. This is more than a game — it’s a pathway back to peace.

How it Started

Zero Dark Birdie was born out of shared experience and deep conviction.

Founded by veterans who lived the struggle they now aim to heal. After multiple deployments, Matthew Scott, a Marine Corps veteran, found unexpected relief through golf and connection—sparking the vision for a retreat that blends camaraderie with healing.

Cody Harris, a Navy veteran and mental health advocate, brought his passion for supporting others with PTSD, while Eddie Ramirez, a Marine and intelligence analyst, created a welcoming space where every veteran feels seen. Nick Meraz, a Navy veteran who’s overcome his own battle with PTSD, openly shares his journey to break stigma and build community.

Together, they transformed their pain into purpose—one swing, one story, and one life at a time.
